Someone Is Selling This Completely Burnt To A Crisp 1969 Camaro Z/28 For How Much?!

For Sale

Of course the seller is in Detroit.

It obviously didn’t always look like this. As hard to believe as it may be, this completely burnt to a crisp car is a . Original paint color: Hugger Orange. Yes, this is Z/28, and it’s up for sale on Craigslist for $4,900. So what did this Z/28 look like before hell and tarnation struck? The seller posted a couple of photos of it back in 2010 when it was purchased at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach, Florida.

Looked fantastic then, but we just have to ask: what can be done with the car in its current (and likely permanent) state, and why would anyone be willing to fork over nearly $5 grand for it? The engine, or what’s left of it, is a 302 V8 mated to a Munice 4-speed manual transmission. Honestly, we don’t even know if this thing is capable of being restored, but the seller clearly believes so. Fortunately, it's a matching numbers Camaro except for the CE replacement block. It had a frame-off restoration before its Waco-like fiery death, but now you can give Tony a call regarding its scrap title.
