Why has no one done this before?
With and a low center of gravity that loves lunging into corners, it’s a surprise that nobody has tried to make a race car out of the top-tier Model S sooner. To give the high-performance EV , one racing team decided to strip out a Tesla Model S P90D, install a roll cage, and take it up Pike’s Peak. The result was that the Tesla shattered the previous record for a production EV by a full minute. Even though this Tesla weighs 800 pounds less than stock, it still required an army of ice packs to cool the battery.
