We think so.
, Lexus brought two new models to the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. a new LX and the second is this, a new GS. We speculated that the GS could be one of the reveals due to the fact that a new GS F was unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show. So, what is new and exciting about the GS Lexus brought to Pebble Beach? For starters there’s a new entry-level model, the rear-wheel drive 200t. The 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine sports a twin-scroll turbocharger good for 241 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque.
Also new under the hood is the engine for the GS 350. Its 3.5-liter V6 sends 311 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque (up from 306 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque) to the rear wheels, with all-wheel drive also available. The engines for the GS 450h and GS F remain the same. The GS has a new front bumper and rocker panels, cool looking Bi-LED headlights and an incredibly large spindle grille that people either love or hate. Honestly, we’re not too blown away here. The grille is out of control in terms of size and the interior doesn’t look all that lavish. Its design is a bit chunk and frumpy. Of course base models and sport models are different but the former doesn't have to have a design inspired by a loaf of white bread.
