Lamborghini Countach Wrecked in 'The Wolf of Wall Street'

This 25th anniversary edition Lambo was no replica.

Destroying cars in movies is nothing new. The James Bond franchise have been doing it for decades, the Fast & Furious movies have gotten through their fair share of exotics, and the upcoming Need for Speed flick . In almost every case, the car that meets a sorry end is simply a replica. But in Martin Scorce's upcoming film “The Wolf of Wall Street," an actual bona-fide Lamborrghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition was purposely damaged for a scene.

Thankfully, the Lambo's injuries weren't life-threatening. A new bumper, headlights, hood and front quarter-panel will transform it back to its former glory. For the record, just 658 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Editions were produced from 1988 to 1990, and was distinguished from the standard Countach with new front and side spoilers and modified air vents.
