Here’s Your First Look At The Fast & Furious Live Arena Show


Because Fast & Furious isn’t making enough money already.

Fast & Furious has become one of the biggest and most profitable movie franchises of all time, so companies are obviously going to milk as much money out of it as possible. We’ll have to wait until 2020 for Fast & Furious 9 to arrive, but before that there will be a . Yes, soon there will be nearly as many Fast & Furious films as there are Star Wars films. To give fans their Fast & Furious fix next year, 23 arenas in 14 European countries will be hosting the first Fast & Furious Live Tour.

A new teaser trailer has been released showing some stunt rehearsals giving us a better idea of what to expect from the action-packed live show. It promises to be a spectacle, as some of the film’s most memorable stunts will be re-enacted in front of a live audience. None of the film’s cast will be taking part in the live arena shows, though. Sorry Vin Diesel fans.

Instead, we’ll be introduced to new characters DSS Agent Dawson and Sophia Diaz who are on the hunt for new villain Caine, a remaining member of Cipher's crew. Fans will recognize some of the iconic cars featured in the eight Fast & Furious movies however, including Brian O Conner’s Toyota Supra from the first film, Dom’s Ice Charger from Fate of the Furious, and the custom Flip Car from Fast & Furious 6. From the trailer, we can expect to see lots of sideways stunt driving including a drift sequence that pays homage to Tokyo Drift’s car park scene. Fast & Furious Live kicks off January 19 at the O2 Arena in London. Hopefully if it's successful it will come to America too at some point.
