Affected owners of Nissan cars can apply for late payment options and employee pricing on new vehicles.

Nissan Finance customers can request payment extensions by using the online chat feature at NissanFinance.com or by calling 1-800-456-6622. Payments can be delayed for up to three months, where allowed by law.

The automaker is also offering employee pricing with a delayed payment option on most new Nissan cars and trucks to eligible individuals or business owners whose vehicles were damaged or written off in the California wildfires. Affected owners will need to apply for these discounts before January 2, 2019. Claim ID codes are valid for 45 days from date of issue.

Nissan says there is a limit of one claim per damaged vehicle, but if three vehicles are totalled, the customer would be eligible for three replacements. For more information, affected owners can visit the special "disaster relief" page at .
