The new Audi RS Q3 is coming to fight AMG.
Last summer, Audi , which features more aggressive styling and larger proportions. However, it’s only a matter of time before the from Audi Sport. After , our spy photographers have spotted the new 2020 Audi RS Q3 being put through its paces in snowy Sweden.
Compared to the regular Q3, the hardcore RS model features more aggressive styling with larger air intakes in the front bumper, wider fenders, and a bigger roof spoiler. At the back, the rear bumper looks more sculptured and has a small diffusor incorporating quad exhaust pipes.
While we were expecting the 2020 Audi RS Q3 to be powered by the, German publication claims it will have 414 hp on tap, which is 20 more hp than the most powerful version of this engine. While the report hasn’t been verified, it isn’t unfeasible that the RS Q3 will be more powerful than expected considering that .
Power will be sent through a dual-clutch automatic gearbox via Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Like other RS models, sporty seats will likely be offered as standard with the option of bucket seats, as well as carbon and metal trim and RS badges.
The 2020 Audi RS Q3 is expected to go on sale in early 2019, so there’s a good chance its world debut will take place at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March. Unlike the previous model, it’s isn’t expected to be forbidden fruit in the US either, but we're not expecting the RS Q3 to arrive Stateside until 2020 after the base Q3 and hot SQ3 go on sale this year.
