German tuner Wheelsandmore has extracted more performance out of the naturally aspirated Ferrari 812 Superfast.
The is a rare breed of supercar in the modern car world. While other manufacturers are using forced induction and hybrid technology to extract more power out of today’s supercars and hypercars, you’ll find a naturally aspirated, 6.3-liter V12 under the hood of the 812 Superfast. No turbochargers here – this is a supercar in its purest form and could well be the last naturally aspirated Ferrari ever made. What you’re looking at here, however, is not a stock , but an upgraded model by Wheelsandmore.
Think of it like a one-year birthday present. Wisely, the German tuner hasn’t tampered with Ferrari’s winning formula too much here, so don’t expect a massive boost in power. In stock form, the ’s V12 develops a hefty 789 horsepower. Rather than remapping the ECU or install a turbocharger, the tuner has fitted a new exhaust system with valve flap-controlled mufflers, an x-pipe, and 100-cell catalytic converters that optimize the flow and diameter and produce an even more sublime sound. These modifications add an additional 20 ponies and 11 lb-ft of torque, bringing the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12’s output up to a very respectable 808 hp.
No performance figures have been released, but in stock form the 812 Superfast can do the 0-62 mph sprint in 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 211 mph. A spring lowering kit also reduces the ride height by 30 mm. In addition, the German is offering some fetching handcrafted wheels to enhance the look of the supercar. These include concave F.I.W.E 21-inch wheels with central locking optics, and a new exclusive “Fork” design specially for the featuring central lock application and directional wheel centers for left and right installation. Both wheel designs are wrapped in 275/30/21-sized Pirelli P Zero tires on the front axle and 325/30/21 on the rear.
