The facelifted Q7 was seen being tested alongside its sporty SQ7 sibling.

After being , prototypes of the Audi Q7 facelift and its sporty SQ7 sibling have been spotted being put through their paces in treacherous snowy conditions. Visually, the biggest changes can be seen at the front, as both models sport newly shaped and slimmer looking headlights, a new Singleframe grille, and a redesigned bumper.

The current Q7 has and looks a bit dated compared to recent Audi models, so these changes will help modernize the premium SUV to match Audi’s current design language seen on the .

As you would expect, the SQ7 looks more aggressive than the standard model, with a more prominent grille, restyled taillights, and oval-shaped exhaust outlets. More significant upgrades are expected to be found inside the premium SUV, as both models should get the same dual-screen infotainment system and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster as the Q8.

As for powertrains, expect engine options to carry over, possibly with a slight power boost. Currently, the US-spec Audi Q7 is offered with a choice of a 2.0-liter turbo I4 generating 252 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque or a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that produces 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. Since the prototype is only disguised with a thin layer of camouflage, the Audi Q7 facelift is likely to debut soon, possibly at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show in March.
