Fortunately, Ferrari has addressed literally every single one of Harris’ constructive criticism points, and the result is an absolutely brilliant machine. Its 6.3-liter V12 has been given a power increase, now rated at 680 hp and 515 lb-ft of torque. Yes, that’s nearly 700 hp in a family-friendly Ferrari. Top speed hovers at around 200 hp.
You’ll blast from 0 to 62 mph in a brief 3.5 seconds. And in case you’re wondering, those rear seats are totally usable, even for adults. Harris was quite comfortable back there, but he’s a short dude. Still though, there’s ample space and that full glass roof (wait until you hear its price tag) is a delight. Where the FF suffered from some quality control issues, notably with its interior, has all been eliminated this time around – as it should be in a car that, as tested, costs around $300,000. Combined with four-wheel steering this time around, the GTC4 Lusso is, in the words of Harris, bonkers. It’s luxurious. It’s expensive. It’s fast. It’s special in all of the good ways it needs to be. It is a true Ferrari, despite what some of the naysayers may still believe.
