The world’s fastest SUV could get even faster if this render ever becomes a reality.
Lamborghini stole the spotlight this week with the five years after . An SUV so powerful it belongs in its own segment. Lamborghini describes the Urus as the world's first “Super SUV,” and it’s certainly earned that moniker. With a 0-62 mph time of 3.6 seconds, a 0-124 mph time of 12.8 seconds, and a top speed of 191 mph, the Lamborghini Urus is the world’s fastest production SUV thanks to its Audi-sourced 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 tuned to deliver 650 hp and 480 lb- ft.
Its performance puts it in supercar territory, and if Lamborghini’s supercar range is anything to go by we’ll probably see even hotter versions of the Urus in the future. It certainly looks worthy of either a Performante or SV nameplate, but if you’re not a fan of the standard SUV’s styling it’s safe to say you won’t like this even less subtle variant. Lamborghini hasn’t outlined any plans to expand the Urus beyond the current model apart from a that could borrow the powertrain from the Porsche Panamera Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid.
