This car is a very important piece of European history.
On May 18, 1965, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip made a historic trip to Germany. This visit marked the first time that a British head-of-state had been in Germany for over five decades and was designed as part of a reconciliation effort following the two world wars. While traveling in Germany, the royal couple used a number of vehicles including a Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet. This car was reportedly used to pick up the couple at the Cologne-Bonn Airport, and take them wherever they needed to go.
To add a little proof to this story, this awesome YouTube video actually shows clips of the Queen's trip. She can clearly be seen riding in the back of the Mercedes 600 Pullman.

Just 59 Landaulet versions of the W100 600 were built, and this one is pretty special. On top of its historical significance, the engine was completely rebuilt and only has 3,309 miles on it. This makes the car practically new! According to Mechatronik, the restoration was completed between the late 1980s and early 1990s. The car was given a fresh coat of paint, new leather, and wood veneer. The price is not listed, but we bet it is extremely high. We suggest you check out Mechatronik's website where you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the car.
