Salomondrin has really outdone himself this time.
If you haven't subscribed to the Youtube channel Salomondrin yet, then you should go check out the lasted episode of 'Bangin' Gears'. The show is a homemade web series hosted by film producer and car enthusiast Alejandro Salomon. Salomon is responsible for gathering as well as getting all of Ferrari's ultimate cars together at the same time. In his latest video, Salomondrin finds out which one of the hardcore track supercars is the fastest.
The video features the Lamborghini Aventador SV, McLaren 675LT, Ferrari 458 Speciale, Porsche GT3 RS, and the Dodge Viper ACR. Each of these cars was privately owned and gathered together for the video. So don't worry, there is no chance that Ferrari will cheat on this test.
We recommend that you watch the video before you keep reading if you don't want the results to be spoiled. Although, since the video is almost one hour long, we will break down the shocking results. You may have expected the V12 Aventador to clean up in the test, but with such a heavy curb weight and bad brakes, the Aventador finished dead last on the hot laps. The 458 is a bit old at this point, so it didn't do very well either. The first surprise came when the 911 GT3 RS, which is by far the least powerful, held its own and achieved third place. The McLaren was chosen by the viewers as the car that would easily dominate in all of the tests, and Salomndrin actually went out and just to use in the video.
However, we were shocked when the only manual car in the test, the Viper ACR (also owned by Salomon), was the quickest around the track. Although, it only achieved this after breaking during filming, and coming back after being repaired. On the Fourth of July, it was a nice result to see the American Viper win in this competition. It is a for such an incredible car.
