Check Out The Dirty Aftermath Of A Car And Truck-Eating Mudslide

Because nature always wins.

California has had it rough lately. A massive drought. Horrendous wild fires and now this. A section of southern California highway was covered in waist-deep mud (up to 6-feet in some areas) over the weekend as a result of a raging mud slide caused by serious thunderstorms and rain that came out of nowhere. Call it a flash flood of pure mud and debris. State Route 58 will remain closed for the coming days as rescuers frantically work to try and clear the mud-caked cars, trucks, and semi-trucks.

One witness described the mud flow as "the whole side of the hill (coming) down." Amazingly, no one was injured or killed. And yes, there are still around 30 vehicles stuck in the muck.
